Kaiju Beat: 2014

In the Fall Semester of 2014 I participated on a group project that brought a whole class of students together to collaborate on a single project. Originally called "Melodious Monster Rhythm" and later renamed "Kaiju Beat" by its creators, it was a traditional 2d-scrolling, single player game intended for use on tablets. The player would inhabit the role of a monster and attempt to rampage through a metropolitan area in order to achieve game objectives.
The project asked the students to concept and produce the primary assets for the game as well as backgrounds and user interface elements. I personally contributed to the project in the development of a monster character and a small enemy tank unit. I also developed several other asset concepts that were not included in the final reel.
